vaca

well... kind of. we went away for a long weekend up to see the in-laws. it was actually a very nice visit. nearly no traffic there or back (a miracle considering we go from one major eastern city through another!) and a very nice visit indeed. the in-laws hadn't seen pumpkin in about 6 months! it was like they met a new baby. she slept.all.night. the first night & was only up once or twice the second. a true miracle considering we shared a room and she slept in a packnplay.
she was a very happy girl & was really loving the homemade lasagna her gram made!
no walking yet- she actually seems to get a little lazy about it lately. she still cruises all along furniture & stands up, but the second you go to take her hands & 'walk' her- she goes limp to the floor to crawl! which is fine since i really don't need her to be walking around yet!

in other news- i got my first af since baby & it wasn't all that bad. i seem to have a much lighter time all around (cramps, etc) and i wonder if that will end up the new norm... oh- i hope! i used to have to take something for the horrible cramps the first day (fine after that) but that first day was just no fun! i was thankful i started though- my weight was crazy & now i know it was all bloating. fun.
about to jump back on the wii fit after an extended break- so i will know the real damage of vaca!
