the latest news is that the fil has a new doctor who

sounds better than the last one- this one has hope for him & thinks he can survive his treatments. so news is sounding less bleak.

i was thrown a surprise shower at work- i was so touched that this new group of coworkers cared enough to celebrate 2.0! it has pretty much made up for not having any friends/family do it this time around. we got some very cute little outfits and toys and letters spelling out his first name for his room. also a much welcomed tar-get gift card which i spent today. i just need to get the hand me down pump & carseat from a friend & new pump parts and we are all set!!!! i also found a very pretty, but comfy, maternity maxi dress for the wedding i am set to go to in 3 weeks. i can't believe i still have over that left- i took a photo today (woefully slacking in the documentation of this pregnancy- i know!)

the belly looks more round and lower- not so much of a basketball sticking out, but the rest of me is actually smaller- even the boobs didn't really get any bigger yet. i don't see how i am going to have any clothes left to wear if i keep getting bigger though... wearing a new maternity tee today & it is barely covering the belly!
