still here

she's still great- very very healthy appetite. i swear she's over 8 pounds now- very curious to see at her 2 week on friday. she fusses maybe 2x a day, but we found out she adores her sling. she's been an angel at night for 2 nights in a row... i really hope that continues a while. the hub wants me to bring my mom to the gym later so he can have alone time with her. he's been great about taking her & soothing/changing/ playing with her whenever. i love to watch it! i'm trying to nap at least once during the day when she does, but it's tough for me- i am not a napper...
she has been letting me sleep about 7 hours a night- broken up into 2.5/3 hour shifts, but it's still sleep! i really am a very blessed mommy so far. plus my mom's here for the week so we're all getting spoiled with great food! (and the boob juice works great- i am 5 pounds away from pre-baby weight this morning- it's 5 excessively squishy pounds & my fingers are still a little numb & tingly- but no complaints here!)
